About Haryana Board of School Education
HBSE stands for Haryana Board of School Education. This board has been established on 3 November 1969, 48 years ago. And it was set up on the basis of the Haryana Act No. 11 of 1969. The headquarters of HBSE is situated at Bhiwani which is the famous city of Haryana. For the first time, HBSE conducted the board examination in 1970 at the matriculation level. The board also started conducting board examinations for middle schools for the improvement of the educational level at middle schools in Haryana.
According to the new system of education, the board adopted the pattern of 10+2 in the year 1987 and had been organizing the vocational level examination at the intermediate level. The Haryana board organizes the examination twice a year for the 8th, 10th, and 12th Classes. The board has the authority for supervising and controlling the examinations by the state government to develop and enhance the system of education in the state of Haryana.
