West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has directed all WB Secondary Board Exam 2024 center invigilators to preserve CCTV footage to maintain security, fairness during the examination.
“It is mandatory for all Madhyamik examination centres/venues to preserve CCTV footage of each day of Madhyamik Examination (SE) 2024 until the result is published. This is necessary to maintain the highest standards of security, transparency and fairness throughout the examination,” the board said.
West Bengal Class 10 Board Exam 2024 dates have not been announced yet. The board had earlier informed that the West Bengal HS Class 10 exam 2024 will be conducted from February 16 to 29.
As per the guidelines issued, center invigilators will have to ensure that CCTV cameras are recording continuously from 8 am to 5 pm on the board exam date.
They should ensure that CCTV cameras have adequate storage capacity to retain the footage until the results are declared. “Implement reliable backup procedures to prevent any data loss due to technical issues. Restrict access to authorized personnel only,” it said.
The recording will remain with the head of the institution. “This measure is important for the effectiveness of monitoring and resolution of any incidents that may occur during the examination period,” the board said.
West Bengal Class 10 Madhyamik Date Sheet 2024 will be hosted on the official website wbbse.wb.gov.in. Students will be able to see the exam date and time on the time table.
