A candidate must score at least 35 marks in each subject to pass Tamil Nadu SSLC board exams. Those who could secure a passing grade can now apply for supplementary exams. Registration for supplementary exams will begin from May 11.
The TN students who want to apply for re-evaluation can apply from May 15 to 20. The re-examination will be held on July 2.

TN SSLC Result 2024 Statistics
• This year's TN Class 10 exam results for 2024 are in! Out of the 8,94,264 students who took the exam, a whopping 91.55% passed. This shows a slight increase from last year's 91.39% pass rate.
• Breaking it down, among the 447,061 girls who appeared, 94.53% passed, while among the 447,203 boys, 88.58% passed. It's clear that girls outperformed boys, with a 5% higher pass rate.
• Impressively, 4,105 out of 12,625 schools achieved a perfect 100% pass rate, highlighting the hard work of students and teachers alike.
• Ariyalur district takes the top spot with an outstanding 97.31% pass rate.
• This year, over 8 lakh students sat for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 exams, held from March 26 to April 8, across 4107 centers, all in a single morning session from 10:00 am to 01:15 pm.
This time, the Tamil Nadu government has announced special coaching classes for students who will fail to get a passing grade in TN 10th results today. These classes will begin from May 13, and the School Education Department has also announced that mock exams will be held every Saturday to help students practice.
