The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced the extension of the last date for submitting inter 1st year admission forms. As a result of the heavy rains and floods in the state, candidates seeking admission to 1st year inter programmes at TSBIE colleges can now apply until August 5.
For those who miss the extended deadline, there will be an additional window between August 6 and August 16, with a late fee of Rs 500 applicable in private junior colleges. However, candidates can apply without a late fee in government and government sector colleges during this period.
The TSBIE stated, "All the Principals of Junior Colleges offering Two-year Intermediate Course are informed that in view of the heavy rains and floods in the state, the last date for admissions into the 1st year Intermediate for the academic year 2023-24 is extended up to Dt: 05-08-2023."
This decision aims to ensure that eligible students are not deprived of the opportunity to pursue their higher education. Parents and students are advised to enroll for first year admissions only in the affiliated junior colleges to proceed with the admission process smoothly.
