The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently released the guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the CBSE Board Exam 2024 practicals. Scheduled to take place from January 1 to February 14, 2024, the CBSE practical exams for Classes 10 and 12 are an essential aspect of the examination process. The breakdown includes 16,96,770 students from Class 12 and 21,86,940 from Class 10. The CBSE Class 10 exams are scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 exams will be held between February 15 and April 2, 2023.
In adherence to the guidelines, the Practical Examinations, Projects, and Internal Assessments must align with the specified details outlined in the Practical and Practical Syllabus of the relevant academic session, accessible on the CBSE Academic Branch website: https://cbseacademic.nic.in. CBSE Board Exam 2024: Check Guidelines and SOPs
All practical examination marks must be uploaded simultaneously, starting from the exam dates, and finalised by the respective class's deadline. Schools, internal examiners, and external examination bodies must ensure accurate mark uploads as no amendments will be permitted once the marks are submitted.
For Class 10, the Board will not provide practical answer books; schools are responsible for arranging them independently. After exams, there is no requirement to send students' practical answer books to the regional office.
The Board will appoint Eternal examiners in each school for conducting practical exams and assessing projects in specific subjects.
Payments for all personnel involved in these duties will be processed via the Integrated Payment System, unless specified otherwise.
In the event of schools failing to adhere to the Board's directives, the Board reserves the right to cancel the practical examination.
