More precisely, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations for Standard 12 students will extend from February 21 to March 23. Conversely, the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams for Standard 10 students are scheduled to run from March 1 to March 22, 2023.
Anuradha Oak, the Secretary of the state board, underscores the importance of this early timetable release. Oak highlights that this proactive announcement aims to alleviate students' stress related to exams and provides them with extended periods for thorough preparation. This extended timeframe also allows students to effectively plan their study schedules.
Oak emphasizes the authenticity of the board's timetable and advises students against relying on schedules circulating on social media or disseminated by third-party sources. To ensure accurate information, students are urged to cross-reference the distributed timetable with the one provided by their schools and junior colleges.
Furthermore, the board plans to subsequently release separate timetables for practical exams, oral assessments, grade exams, and other subjects to keep students well-informed and prepared.
