The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education conducted History examination for 10th class on March 20, 2019. Just before a few minutes before the examination, the question paper of History got leaked on social media. Some of the teaching institute owners got the question paper at 10:10 am while the examination was about to start at 11:00 am. The owner of an educational institute sent an email to the divisional board. Some members of the organization got the 10th class question paper images. He shared the images Algebra paper which was scheduled on March 11, 2019. They got the question paper 45 minutes before the examination. They also gave the hint of the leak of the question paper of Science.
Now, the MSBSHSE board is taking action against the sources which are connected in the paper leak. The Maharashtra Board has also assured the students to avoid any kind of difficulty. Today is the exam of Social Science- II (Geography) for SSC students. The board is conducting the examinations from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The examination is the same for the new and the old syllabus’ students. Today, the examinations are finishing. The MSBSHSE board will declare the Maharashtra SSC Result 2019 in the month of June 2019. In the last year, the result was published on June 08, 2018. So, this year, the students may get the result in the second week of June 2019.
In the current year, around 17 lakh candidates appeared for the examinations and 3.83 lakh from Mumbai. The examinations were concluded into 4,874 exam centres across the state. In the 2019 session, about 3,83,320 fresh students enrolled in the exams. The number of candidates who are appearing for the re-exams this year is 16,307. In 2018, the number of students was 3,39,999 while the fresh students were 42,855. For 2019 session examinations, the new and the old syllabus’ candidates took part. So, around, 16,41,568 candidates appeared for the new course and 59,245 for the old syllabus examinations.
The Maharashtra State Board Of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is a state level board. It works for Maharashtra state only. MSBSHSE came into existence under the act of 1965. Maharashtra Board conducts the examinations for the secondary as well as for the senior secondary standard. Every year, more than 14 lakh candidates take part in the examinations of 10th and 12th class.
