The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will conduct HSC General (class 12) examination from February 18 and conclude on March 18 while the HSC Vocational (class 12) examination will begin from February 18 and conclude on March 17 as well as Class 10 (SSC) examination conduct from March 3 and end on March 23. In case any student or their parents have any objection with the Maharashtra Board time table, they can tell it within 15 days. Every year, over 11 lakh students appear for their class 12 examination. Last year, of the 11,98,859 who appeared for HSC examinations from across the state, 10,79,332 were declared pass. In Mumbai, 2,54,138 students passed the examination out of the total 2,87,814 students who appeared.
Similarly, 16.18 lakh students who sit the class 10 examination, 12.47 lakhs declared passed.
