SSLC or Class 10 final examinations 2023 in Kerala will be held from March 9 to 29 2023, Education Minister V. Sivankutty has announced.
The exams will be held in single shifts starting at 9:30 am. There will be no exam in the afternoon, the minister has informed.
SSLC mock exams will be held from February 27 to March 3. Detailed date sheets for these exams will be published later.
Over 4.5 lakh students will write the SSLC public examination 2023, as per an official statement.
Evaluation of answer sheets will start from April 3 and the results will be announced by May 10.
For HS 1st and 2nd year final examinations, over 9 lakh students are expected to appear. VHSC and HS model exams will start on February 27 and continue till Mach 3.
Sivankutty further said that a new training programme for higher secondary teachers, which was suspended due to COVID, will start in December. The one-month long residential training will be in educational institutes and university departments with research facilities.
For SSLC exam, 9,762 teachers will evaluate answer sheets at 70 camps across the state.
For HS, 24,000 teachers will be deployed in evaluation work at 82 camps and for VHSE, 3,500 teachers will be deployed in eight camps.
