Important Announcement by KSEAB
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the timetable for the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 2024 exam 2. According to the official schedule, the Karnataka SSLC exam 2 will take place from June 7 to June 14 in pen and paper mode.
New Examination Policy
With the state government's decision to discontinue Karnataka SSLC and PUC Supplementary Examinations from the academic year 2023–2024, students now have the opportunity to appear in three annual tests: exam 1, exam 2, and exam 3. This move aims to reduce exam stress and pressure among students. Unlike the previous system, where students could opt for a supplementary exam upon failing the main one, the new system allows students to retain their highest scores from all three exams.
Decline in Pass Percentage
The Karnataka SSLC 2024 result was declared on May 9 at 10:45 am. The exam was conducted from March 25 to April 6. However, the pass rate for the Karnataka SSLC 2024 has seen a decline compared to the previous year. In 2024, the overall pass percentage stands at 73.40%, whereas in 2023, it was 83.89%.
