Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially released the final timetable for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Pre-University Course (PUC) examinations. The SSLC exams are scheduled to begin on March 25 and will continue till April 6. Along with this, the second Pre-University (II PU) examination is scheduled to begin on March 1, which will end on March 22.

District Deputy Directors, as well as High School Head Teachers and Under-Graduate College Principals within their respective district jurisdictions have been directed to download the final schedule from the Board's website www.kseeb.karnataka.gov.in.
After this, they have to display these schedules prominently on the notice boards of their respective schools or colleges. Moreover, it is mandatory for them to convey this important information to all the students and take necessary action accordingly.

Important Instructions
• Practical and oral examinations for students in JTS (56, 57, 58, 59, 75, 76, 77) subjects are scheduled to be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 in their respective schools.
• The examination of Hindustani Music and Carnatic Music Theory is scheduled to be held from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm, while the practical exam will be held from 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm.
• Candidates with disabilities having conditions like deafness, learning disability, blindness and mental challenges will be given additional time of one hour for three-hour question paper and 40 minutes additional time for two-hour question paper during the examination.
• A grace period of 15 minutes will be allotted at the start of the examination for each subject to allow students to read the question paper.
For CCE regular and CCE Repeat Candidates
• For First Language and Optional subjects, candidates will have 3.00 hours for the examination, including 15 minutes dedicated to reading the question paper. Similarly, for secondary and tertiary languages, a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes are allotted for writing the examination, with an additional 15 minutes set aside for review of the question paper.
• The examination of National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) subjects is scheduled to be held from 10:15 am to 12:30 pm.
• NSQF students will be allotted a total of 2.00 hours to write the examination, with an additional 15 minutes specifically earmarked for reading the question paper.
• Engineering Graphics (72) exam for JTS subject is scheduled to be held from 2:30 pm to 5:45 pm.
• Carnatic Music/Hindustani Music exam is scheduled to be held from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
For CCE Private candidates, CCE Private Repeaters and Regular Repeaters who do not fall under CCE, NSR and NSPR candidates.
• The maximum marks allotted for the first language is fixed at 125 marks, while for all remaining subjects, the maximum marks per subject is Rs. 100 has been determined.
In case of First Language and Optional subjects, a duration of 3.00 hours is allotted for writing the examination. Additionally, candidates are given 15 minutes to read the question paper before the commencement of the examination.
