Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class 10 results for the 2024 examinations today, May 9. The results were released at 10:30 am. Students who appeared in Karnataka SSLC 2024 or Class 10 board exam can check and download the result through the websites – Fastresult.in Website and Mobile APP.

Along with the SSLC results, the board released the highlights of the officer exam, including the overall passing percentage, gender-wise passing percentage and toppers list.
Karnataka SSLC Results 2024: Passing Percentage
This year's overall pass percentage is 73.40 per cent, which is a decline from last year's 83.89 per cent and 2022's 85.13 per cent. This is also a decline from the pre-pandemic years (2019) when the pass percentage was 73.70 per cent.
SSLC Result 2024 Karnataka : Qualifying Marks Reduced
Considering the decline in pass percentage, the state government has decided to reduce the qualifying marks for attracting the grace from existing 35% to 25%, and grace marks has been increased from 10% to 20% in all subjects as one time measure for all 3 SSLC exams of 2024. After the normalisation, the pass percentage is 73.40%.

Despite this positive step, the pass percentage has seen a 30% decline compared to last year. To support students, the Government plans to enhance normalization procedures due to the introduction of webcasting. This adjustment is aimed at ensuring fairness for all students.

With the pass percentage showing a decline this year, the education department has rolled out a plan to help struggling students. Over the next month, special teaching sessions will be conducted for students who didn't perform well in exam-1 or wish to improve their scores. This initiative aims to better equip them for exams 2 and 3.
Under the new exam pattern of 1-2-3, students who don't pass will have their result marked as NC (Not Completed). The best marks achieved across exams 1-2-3 will be considered, and the final result will be declared after exam 3.
Emphasizing ongoing support, the official press release highlights the upcoming exams 2 and 3 and the department's commitment to providing additional classes to help students succeed.

Karnataka SSLC Result 2024 Live: The evaluation work of the answer scripts was conducted from April 15 to 24 with a total of 61160 evaluators in 237 evaluation centres in 35 educational districts of the State.
