The results of the first year Pre-University exams of Karnataka will be declared only after April 14.
While an earlier circular had mentioned March 27 as the result date, the department of PU education informed that it will not be possible as the lock down is under progress.
"The evaluation is over. However, in order to tabulate the results, college principal, one or two lecturers and non teaching staff need to collate the data and be present in the colleges. This is impossible under the present circumstances. Thus, we cannot expect the results until the shutdown is over," said Kangavalli M, director of the department.
Bengaluru south students need not go to their colleges to see their first year Pre-University College results.
