The final results of the 2nd Pre University Certificate (PUC) 2025 exams are to be declared by the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) today, April 8.
Students who have appeared for the Karnataka Class 12 (PUC 2) exams can check their results on the official website karreults.nic.in or kseeb.kar.nic.in. Students will need their roll number mentioned on the admit card to check their Class 12 results online.
Apart from this, students can also check their results on the fastresult.in website and mobile app.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025: Passing Marks
Candidates who have appeared for the Karnataka PUC II exam this year will have to score at least 33 per cent marks to pass the exam. Those who fail to meet the minimum requirement will be given grace marks. Teachers can only give a maximum of 5 per cent grace marks to students. Those who score less marks will have to appear for compartment exams again and those who fail in all subjects will have to appear for the class again.
Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025: Marking Scheme
The weightage of each subject in the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam is 100 marks, which includes both theoretical and practical exams in some subjects. All students appearing for the exam will have to pass both theoretical and practical exams independently.
As per the marking scheme, for subjects which will not have any practical exams, 20 marks will be considered as internal marks. 10 marks will be awarded based on the first and second unit tests and mid-term exams and the remaining 10 marks will be awarded based on projects and assignments. Internal marks are applicable for subjects like Mathematics, Languages and other core subjects.
The same 70+30 marks scheme will apply for science stream students, which means the minimum passing marks are 24 out of 70 marks of theoretical exams (for Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects). For the practical exam, students must score a minimum of 11 marks out of 30.
For the Arts stream, students must score 28 marks out of 80 marks in the theoretical exam for subjects such as Sociology, Geography, Political Science, and History. The marking scheme applies to regular students appearing for the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam.
Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025: Grading System
As per the grading system, students scoring between 92-100 will be awarded a maximum of 10 grades. Students scoring between 83 to 91 will be awarded 9 grades. Similarly, students scoring between 75 to 82 will be awarded 8 grades, 67-74 will be awarded 7 grades, 59-66 will be awarded 6 grades, 51-58 will be awarded 5 grades, 41-50 will be awarded 4 grades, and 35-40 will be awarded 3 grades.

Steps to Check Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025
Students can follow these simple steps to check their results:
Step 1. Visit the official website karresults.nic.in or kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
Step 2. On the homepage, look for the "Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025" notification on the homepage.
Step 3. Enter your roll number and registration number and fill in the captcha code (if required).
Step 4. Click on “Submit” to view your scorecard.
Step 5. Save a digital copy of the result for future reference.
Step 6. Take a printout if required.
Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2024
Last year, the results were announced on April 10, 2024, in which 6,81,079 students appeared for the exam. Out of these, 5,52,690 candidates passed, making the overall pass percentage 81.15%.
The performance by gender showed that 84,632 boys and 64,310 girls took the exam. The pass percentage for boys was 31.31% (26,496 passed) and for girls it was 35.25% (26,009 passed).
