Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) today declared the results of Pre University Certificate (II PUC) Exam 1. This year, Karnataka Board 2nd PUC exam will be conducted as 1st, 2nd and 3rd. "To reduce stress and anxiety among students and create better education and employment opportunities for them."
While Karnataka PUC exam 1 was held between March 1 and 22 and the results have been declared today, the second and third exams are scheduled to be held in April/May and July respectively.
As per the schedule announced today by the board, Karnataka PUC II Exam 2 will be conducted between April 29 and May 16. The first exam will start with papers on Kannada, History, Arabic and Physics.

Till last year, the board was conducting an annual examination and a supplementary examination. The board now wants to replace the 'Supplementary Examinations' with 'Annual Examinations 1, 2 and 3' system, which will give students three opportunities to enhance their overall performance and promote positive attitude.
For Karnataka PUC II exams, the exams will be conducted in two shifts – morning and evening. The first shift will be conducted between 10:15 am to 1:30 pm, while the next shift will start at 2:15 pm. Most of the papers will be in the first shift only.
