ICSE Class 10th and ISC Class 12th Semester 1 exams 2021-22 have been postponed. The board says it is beyond their control. On October 19, the the board’s Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon said, “The CISCE has decided to postpone the ICSE and ISC year 2021-2022 semester 1 examinations due to reasons beyond our control”
This year the Semester 1 Exam of ICSE Class 10th was scheduled for November 15 to December 6 and ISC Class 12 exams were scheduled for November 15 to December 16. Since the board has postponed the First semester examination, revised dates will be announced later.
Just like CBSE the CISCE Board and other state boards have divided their 2021-22 board exams into two terms for this year. CBSE is also conducting the term 1 exam in November-December.
The CISCE had earlier informed that first semester exams will be in online mode and second semester exams will be in online or offline mode, depending on the COVID-19 situation.
The board has also reduced the syllabi for various subjects because of the academic disruption that was caused due to COVID-19.
