Remaining funds in the PD account must be remitted to the Head of Account “0202-01-102-97(03) other receipts” by June 30, 2024. For students from unaided schools, the existing refund practice will continue.

This year, the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary exam results (Plus Two) were announced by the Kerala Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty on May 9 at 3 PM in Thiruvananthapuram.

The pass percentages for 2024 are:

  • Science: 84.84% (down from 87.31% in 2023)
  • Commerce: 76.11% (down from 82.75% in 2023)
  • Humanities: 67.09% (down from 71.93% in 2023)

A total of 105 students scored a perfect 1200 out of 1200 marks. Due to the drop in pass percentages, especially over 4% this year, the Education Minister V. Sivankutty has ordered an inquiry into the poor performance of government schools, with a report expected within two weeks.
