Tamil Nadu board cancelled the Class 10th and 11th exams! Students to be promoted to the next class, based on their marks, attendance, and other results.
Class 10 examination and the remaining exams of a few subjects of the class 11th have been cancelled now. Tamil Nadu government decided to promote the class 10th and 11thstudents to the next class, on the basis of their internal marks including quarterly and half-yearly exam results.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said, Chennai and some districts have numerous numbers of the Coronavirus cases and there is no hope in the reduction of the virus spread. However, these examinations were scheduled to conduct on June 15, 2020, but the exams are fully cancelled now and students will be promoted, declared by the Tamil Nadu Board.
