The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a public cautionary notice regarding certain private publishers' websites offering downloads of CBSE board exam practice papers for both Class 10 and Class 12.
The board has observed that some schools and students are being directed to access CBSE practice papers through specific websites run by private publishers. It is important to note that such claims and promotional offers should not mislead the public.
CBSE emphasizes that all practice papers for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams are readily available on the official CBSE website, cbseacademic.nic.in, and can be downloaded completely free of charge.
In alignment with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020, CBSE has introduced competency-focused education and assessment in its affiliated schools. The board recently released practice papers for major subjects of both Class 10 and Class 12. These resources are designed to assist students in solving more application-based questions that require higher-order thinking skills and promote a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
