The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a series of virtual workshops focusing on career development for students, parents, teachers, principals, and counselors. These workshops aim to support professional growth for school leaders, teachers, and counselors, while helping students and parents make informed career choices. Each workshop will take place weekly, with a dedicated focus on one group at a time.
These workshops are carefully crafted to provide a thorough approach to career guidance and decision-making. CBSE has published a detailed schedule on its official website, which includes dates, topics, speakers, and registration links.
"This workshop series, designed for CBSE school students, highlights the importance of reflective thinking as a key skill for self-reliance in recognizing unique talents and aptitudes. By promoting an environment of self-exploration, students can understand their inherent strengths and align them with future educational and career opportunities.
The goal is to equip students with simple techniques to continually assess their abilities and adapt to changing trends in the workforce and education sectors, ensuring their strengths align with their career paths. Additionally, the workshop introduces innovative, game-like career research techniques, making the discovery process enjoyable and informative. This engages students and provides them with verified information, supporting structured, logical, and sound decision-making. Through this approach, students are prepared to confidently navigate their future with a solid foundation of self-knowledge and research skills," the official notification states.
