The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a warning about a fake notification circulating on social media regarding the weightage of Term 1 and Term 2 board examinations in the final results. Students are advised not to believe this fake notification.
It is being claimed in the fake notification that in the final results of Term 1 and Term 2, 30% weightage will be from Term 1 exam and remaining 70% will be from Term 2 exam. However, the board has denied this.
Not only this, the fake notification also states that the weightage of internal assessment will remain unchanged and students who could not appear in Term 1 examination due to COVID-19 or participation in Olympiads/sports events, will be assessed for Term 2 examination. will be done on the basis of their performance. CBSE HQ has termed the notice as fake while sharing the photos on its official Twitter account.
Let us tell you, this year, for the first time, CBSE is conducting the class 10th and class 12th file examination in two phases. Term 1 exam was conducted in November-December, 2021 and the results have been declared. Students can get the result from the school.
Term 2 exam will start from 26th April. Class 10 exam will end on May 24 and class 12 exam will continue till June 15. Term-1 result showing the marks obtained by the students in various subjects has been declared. The final result which will mention the qualifying status along with other details will be released after Term-2 exam.
