The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has told affiliated schools to make proper websites. Schools need to upload teacher details, including qualifications, and other important information as required for public disclosure.
CBSE said many schools still don’t have working websites despite being told many times. Some schools with websites haven’t uploaded all the required details. In some cases, uploaded links don’t work or aren’t easy to find on the homepage.
The notice said, “All affiliated schools must create websites and upload teacher qualifications and other required details as part of Mandatory Public Disclosure.”
The notice also pointed out that some schools uploaded only part of the details. Others haven’t made the uploaded links active or visible.
CBSE has given schools 30 days to fix these issues. Schools that don’t follow the rules may face strict action.
