Central Board of Secondary Education announced CBSE 12th Result 2019 in less than a month this time without any prior notification. Students, parents and teacher all were in a state of shock as CBSE intimated the time of the release of result just an hour before the announcement. The board officials refused to give any date for the CBSE Class 10th Result 2019. They, however, did confirm that the board would be publishing Class 10 results 2019 within this week. The information, officials said, would be shared on the FastResult website. When quizzed concerning the nature of advance notification for the results, officials shared that the date has not been decided as yet. CBSE Officials refused to state whether the alert would be announced an hour ahead of the result announcement if the board would inform a day ahead. More than 18, 27, 472 students had registered for the CBSE Class 10th Board Examination 2019. The exams were conducted from February 21 and ended on March 27, 2019. The dates shared by experts suggest that the results would be released on May 5. However, the board may publish the results sooner as well. A total of 83.04% of students passed the Class 12th examination this year, the result of which was announced on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Hansika Shukla from DPS, Ghaziabad and Karishma Arora from SD Public School, Muzaffarnagar scored 499 out of 500 and emerged as toppers. About 94,299 students achieved over 90% marks and 17,693 obtained over 95% marks. As many as 99,207 students got compartment this year.
Once the result will be declared, the students who have qualified the examination will be moved to one step ahead to the higher education i.e 11th class. Students who will not be able to pass the examinations need not worry. The CBSE board provides another chance to its students in the form of compartmental examination. Students who have not passed the examination can appear for the compartment exam which will be held in the month of June. To know the passing criteria the marks of the board results are divided into two parts first practical and second one is theory marks. Students are required to appear for both practical and theory papers. Irrespective of the number of marks allocated to the practical and theory papers, the passing criteria is the same.
To pass the 10th class Board Exam 2019, students require to obtain a minimum of 33% marks out of total. That means, for a 100 mark paper which has 20 marks practical and 80 marks theory, students require to get a total of 33 marks. This could be 15 marks in practical and 18 marks in theory or 20 marks in practical and 13 marks in theory and so on.
