According to the latest update, experts say that the CBSE 2020 results can be released by the third week of May if the Board is able to conduct the remaining exams in the month of April. With the outbreak of COVID-19 and the resulting lockdown, the Central Board of Secondary Education has had almost a month’s setback in its exam conducting and result evaluation and declaration process. The CBSE released a circular on 18th March 2020, which stated that all its 10th and 12th exam scheduled between 19th and 31st March 2020 and thereafter have been postponed. CBSE, however, is yet to announce the revised datesheet and is expected to do the same soon.
However, with the entire nation on lockdown until 15th April 2020, the Board will not be able to conduct the Class 10 and 12 Board exams until then. Sources have reveled that CBSE is working a number of possible schedules to minimize the impact of the delay in conducting the Board exams in the declaration of CBSE Board 2020 results. The on-time declaration CBSE results 2020, especially CBSE 12th result 2020, is of paramount importance for students to be able to apply for admission to higher courses of study.
The Board, reportedly is trying to take into account several other factors such as dates of entrance examination while preparing the rescheduled datesheet for CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board exam 2020. In the CBSE Board Class 12 exams that were postponed were the subjects of Business Studies and Sociology while in the CBSE 10th Board exam 2020 a few vocational courses like the Information Technology Examination and another couple were required to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Experts and academicians believe that if everything else is on remains track, there is a great possibility that CBSE will conduct the remaining papers with great alacrity. Students, as such, have been urged to continue studying for their remaining papers with sincerity.
