The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an extension in the registration deadline for CBSE Board Exams. Now, schools have until September 28, 2023, to complete the LOC (List of Candidates) filling process for both Class 10 and 12 students.
The LOC submission is a crucial step in the board exam procedure, and any errors in the LOC details could result in disqualification from the exams. Schools can submit the LOC forms without incurring a late fee until September 28, 2023. However, there's an option to submit it until October 5, 2023, with a late fee.

To complete the LOC submission, schools should use the e-Pariksha link accessible on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE emphasizes that individuals responsible for filling in the details must fully understand the guidelines provided in the circular to avoid errors. Parents should also be informed about the significance of providing accurate data and the potential consequences of incorrect information. It's crucial to note that no corrections will be allowed after the LOC submission.
Regarding fees, a late fee of ₹2000/- per candidate is applicable in addition to the regular fee specified in the August 17, 2023 notice. For Class 12 practical exams, the fee is ₹150/- per practical subject per candidate for schools in India and Nepal, and ₹350/- per practical subject per candidate for schools abroad.
CBSE has directed all affiliated schools to submit the LOC timely to avoid delay in further exam process. Following the pattern, CBSE starts preparing the Board exam date sheet and other details only after submission of LOC. The official notice has been attached above for reference.
