The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced that the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for the year 2024 will commence from February 15. These exams will run for approximately 55 days and conclude on April 10, 2024.
In an official notice, CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj emphasized the importance of other exam organizations aligning their exam dates with CBSE's schedule.
Earlier, on May 12, CBSE had already declared that the board exams for 2024 would be held from February 15 while announcing the CBSE 10th and 12th results for 2023.
This year, the pass percentages were reported as 93.12% for Class 10 students and 87.33% for Class 12 students. The number of registered students was 16,96,770 for Class 12 and 21,86,940 for Class 10 exams. It is worth noting that CBSE had also conducted the board exams from February 15 for the academic session of 2022-23, with Class 10 exams held from February 15 to April 5 and Class 12 exams from February 15 to March 21.
