CBSE Board Exams 2023-24: LOC Submission Deadline Approaching in 6 Days, Late Fee Details, and Application Process

The Central Board for Secondary Examination (CBSE) is preparing to conduct the annual Board Exams for Class 10 and 12 students in schools affiliated with the board. The CBSE LOC Registrations 2023-24 commenced on August 18, 2023, and the deadline is rapidly approaching. CBSE has officially confirmed that there will be no extension for CBSE LOC Submissions 2023-24.

Official Notice

CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24: Last Date and Late Fee

As mentioned earlier, CBSE has officially stated that the last date for CBSE LOC Submissions 2023-24 will not be extended. The CBSE LOC Submission Last Date without Late Fee is September 18, 2023, while the CBSE LOC Submission Last Date with Late Fee is September 25, 2023, beginning from September 19, 2023. In addition to the regular fee, the Late Fee is Rs. 2000/- per candidate.

CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24: How to Apply

  • The application/registration process for CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24 can be completed using the e-Pariksha link provided on the official website of the board: https://cbse.gov.in.
  • Before proceeding with the LOC submission, schools must upload all student data on the OASIS and HPE Portal. After LOC submission, the board will not allow schools to change the declared strength/section of students uploaded on OASIS.
  • Schools should use their 'Affiliation Number' as the user ID and complete their registration process before proceeding with the online submission.

Principals/Schools Must Ensure the Following for LOC Submission

According to the official notification by CBSE, principals or schools must ensure that the sponsored candidates are their own regular and bonafide students, with no bonafide students' names left unsponsored. Schools should also confirm that students are not from unaffiliated schools, regularly attend classes, and are not registered with any other board besides CBSE. Additionally, it should be verified that students are eligible to appear in the Board exams in accordance with the Examination Bylaws' provisions. Class XII students must also confirm that they passed their Class X board exam from a recognized school education board on or before the academic year 2022.

CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24: Objective

The objective of the LOC (List of Candidates) prepared by CBSE is to compile a list of essential details of all students as provided by schools. This list includes demographic data and the subject combinations selected by students. It's important to note that details submitted in the LOC cannot be changed later.
