The CBSE Board Exam 2024 practical exam dates have been officially released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. These dates pertain specifically to the Class 10 and 12 practical exams for schools located in winter-bound regions. According to the official announcement, the practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for the 2023-24 academic session, applicable to both Class 10 and Class 12 students attending winter-bound schools, will take place from November 14 to December 14, 2023. The marks for all practical exams will be uploaded promptly after the respective practical exam sessions and must be finalized by the conclusion of the practical exams.
For Class 10 practical exams, there will be no appointment of external examiners by the Board, and the Board will not supply practical answer books. Instead, schools are responsible for making the necessary arrangements. In contrast, for Class 12 practical exams, the Board will designate external examiners for each school to oversee the examination and project assessments.
The Board has advised that to ensure a fair and accurate assessment, practical exams should be organized in multiple sessions each day if the number of students exceeds 30.
Additionally, CBSE will commence practical exams for all affiliated schools in India and abroad from January 1, 2024, except for those schools located in winter-bound areas. For further information and related updates, candidates are encouraged to refer to CBSE's official website.
