The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday issued an advisory notification asking students to leave their homes early and reach their respective examination centers much earlier to avoid traffic jams due to the prevailing situation in Delhi.
Students can also use metro services to reach the examination centres. CBSE has advised students to reach there on or before 10 am before the exam starts at 10:30 am. CBSE board exams for class 10th and 12th will begin tomorrow, February 15, 2024.
"Since the examination begins at 10.30 am, all students are directed to reach their examination centers on or before 10.00 am. Due to the prevailing situation in Delhi, it is feared that there will be traffic related problems, which may lead to difficulty in reaching There may be delays. Examination Centres. Therefore, all students are advised to leave their homes early so that they can reach on time as per the instructions issued by CBSE. According to CBSE, students arriving after 10 am will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Students from India and other countries have also been urged to appear at the examination centers before 10 am, keeping in mind local traffic and weather conditions as well as distance.
This year, more than 39 lakh students from 26 countries will appear for the class 10th and 12th board exams. Apart from this, 5,80,192 students will appear for the CBSE board exams from 877 examination centers in Delhi.
