The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has issued an important notice for schools regarding the upcoming class 10 and 12 board exams. Schools were previously instructed to submit the List of Candidates (LOC) for students appearing in the exams, with a emphasis on thorough cross-verification of details. However, as is customary, schools are now seeking corrections to some of the students' data.

In response to these requests, CBSE has introduced the LOC correction window on parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in. Schools are required to pay a fine of Rs. 1000 per student for making changes in the application. Notably, changes cannot be made to the candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, and date of birth. A complete change of the candidate's name is not allowed; only corrections are permitted.
The official CBSE notice states, “Such requests show that schools were not serious while finalizing LOC as data was filled in by them during registration in class IX and XI more than a year ago. Looking into the request raised by schools, Board has developed an online system for proposing the corrections in data through Pariksha Sangam website. Schools can log in using their allotted user ID and password.”
Key dates for CBSE LOC Correction Window:
- The correction link became active on January 4, 2024.
- The deadline for making changes is January 8, 2024.
The notice also mentions, "Once corrections are submitted, these will be checked by the Regional Office concerned and if found that correction is as per rules, these will be accepted otherwise not."
Centralized Admission Master Correction Portal (CAMC):
The CAMC module, designed and developed by CBSE IT Unit Headquarters, allows schools to correct data for class X and XII. The school-initiated corrections are then sent to the Regional Officer for approval. Once approved, the updated information will reflect in the school's LOC. For further details, schools can refer to the attached notice or visit the official website.
