The Central Board of Secondary Education 10th Class exams was concluded on Friday, i.e March 29 with the Social Science paper. According to students, the Social Science paper was easy, and there was nothing hard. Meanwhile, some students said that there are 2 to 3 questions in the paper which needs the presence of mind.
Souvik Mukherjee from DPS School, Kolkata said, “The paper was scoring, and it took 2 hours to complete the paper. I am expecting a good score above 90%.” and Aditya Mohan from the same school said, “The paper was quite simple, but there are 2 to 3 questions quite hard such as Question number 19 and 16 in set-II was really difficult and require a thorough knowledge of the chapter.”
Meenu Sehgal, PGT Social Science from Amity International School said, “The Social Science paper follows the NCERT syllabus pattern, the questions are to the point, and there are many options.” However, there are 2 to 3 questions which are difficult, but again the CBSE board follows the pattern of 30-50-20, i.e. 30% (Below average), 50% (average), and 20%(standard).
Another teacher Namala Vanaja, PGT Social Science from Vidyagyan School, Bulandshahr said, “SSC covers the latest topics like industrialisations, globalisation and there are no lengthy questions in the paper. The questions paper was much predicted and follow the last five years pattern.”
