Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has issued an important notice for online submission of list of candidates by schools for classes X and XII. The submission of LOC for supplementary exam for 10th and 12th will start from June 1, 2023, on the official website of Pariksha Sangam, parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.
As per the notice, the online submission is for compartment (1st chance), improvement of performance, improvement of performance in up to 2 subjects in class 10 and two subjects on class 12 and compartment (3rd chance) students can appear as private candidates.
A maximum of three chances are available for a student to pass an examination if the student has been placed in the compartment category in the main examinations.
Schools in India have to pay Rs.300 per subject while schools in Nepal and outside India have to pay Rs.1000 and Rs.2000 respectively from June 1 to June 15, 2023. Those who pay between June 16 to 17 will have to pay a late fee of Rs.2000.
To apply for Class XII, regular students who appeared in board exam 2023 and declared as compartment are eligible to apply only in one subject whereas for class X, students declared as compartment can apply in one or two subjects.
Apart from the LOC Submissions, the CBSE has stated that supplementary examinations for class XII will be held on July 17, 2023 and supplementary exams for Class X will start from July 17, 2023.
