On August 18, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will launch the List of Candidate (LOC) forms for the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2024. Schools are obligated to complete these forms by filling in the information provided by their students. The LOC submission is specifically intended for students in classes 9th and 12th, who are preparing to appear for their respective 10th or 12th board exams. Schools must internally process the LOC submission based on the student-provided information. The Pariksha Sangam portal will serve as the platform for submitting the LOC.

To adhere to the designated timeline, CBSE has released the LOC schedule, mandating that schools submit the required details by September 18, 2023, without incurring any late fees. CBSE has further emphasized the importance of timely LOC submission to prevent any delays in subsequent activities. Schools should ensure compliance with this directive to maintain a smooth flow of processes.

Prepare for the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2024 by promptly completing the necessary LOC submission following the prescribed guidelines. Stay on track and avoid any disruptions in your academic journey.

"This prior intimation is given to the schools to keep the data ready first for LOC and thereafter registration so that schools could complete all activities on time," CBSE notice reads.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: LOC Data

The compilation of student details by schools within the List of Candidates (LOC) includes both personal and academic information. Schools are mandated to provide the candidate's chosen subjects, name, date of birth, and other particulars.

It's crucial to emphasize that the CBSE generates Board admit cards from the data sourced through the LOC. Any inconsistencies in this data could potentially disrupt the smooth conduct of the board exams.

Both students and parents are earnestly advised to meticulously verify all the details furnished within the LOC. This data holds official status and is of paramount importance for future use. For 9th-grade students, the date of birth submitted in Class 9 serves as a permanent certificate of validation.

Following the submission of the LOC, the CBSE will commence the registration process for the exams.

It's noteworthy that the CBSE initiates the subsequent steps of board exam preparation once the LOC is submitted. The CBSE Date Sheet 2024 will be formulated based on the number of students enrolling for each specific subject.
