The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has recently released the HS final exam routine for the year 2024 on December 7. According to a report by Pratidintime, the Assam HS 2024 exams are scheduled to take place from February 12 to March 13, 2024. In response to the latest update, the board has extended the application form submission deadline until December 15, 5 PM. Interested candidates are advised to complete the application process through their respective schools.
Notably, the Assam Class 12 board exams will be conducted in two shifts to accommodate the examination schedule efficiently. The first shift is scheduled from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will take place from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

In November, AHSEC announced a Pre-Final Test Examination scheduled for HS second-year students in December 2023. The examination will take place in all permitted/recognized institutions under AHSEC's jurisdiction. Heads of institutions are directed to organize the exam, including creating the Pre-Final Exam routine, developing subject-wise question papers, distributing blank answer scripts, issuing admit cards, evaluating answer scripts, declaring results, and providing marksheets.
