The AHSEC has published the Assam Board 12th Admit Card 2019 on January 30, 2019. The admit card is available for 12th class students. The schools are able to get the admit card. The school authorities can get the admit card from the AHSEC board’s office. Some of the schools have been given the admit card directly by post.
A total of 2.42 lakh students will appear for the exams this year. The exams for 12th class will start on February 12, 2019. The first and the last examinations will be managed for English and Biotechnology, History, Economic Geography and Music (Group C)** respectively. The examinations will be held for a month. The exams will be ended on March 14, 2019. The board will manage the examinations in the two shifts. The shifts are morning & afternoon. The timings are for morning 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the evening at 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM respectively. The practical exams for the 12th class were scheduled from Jan 11 to 30, 2019.

It is necessary for the students to carry the admit card at the time of going for the board examinations. The hall ticket includes all the important information such as the student name, roll number, date of birth, exam date, exam days, registration number, enrollment number, the details about the board, the timings for the exams, reporting time and exam centre etc. To check the board examinations from the cheating and malpractices, the Assam board has taken different measures. To do so, all the examinations hall have been installed with CCTV cameras. In some of the sensitive examination centres, the jammers will also be placed. In this way, the examination centres will be inspected.
Latterly, the Assam board has presented a list of sensitive examination centres to CID. AHSEC and CID will form a specific team to keep an eye on the same centres. Assam Higher Secondary Education Council came into being on June 01, 1984. The board is well-known as AHSEC. The board regulates, manages and develops the system of +2 stages in the State of Assam. The board prescribes the syllabus to the associated schools.
