A decision on ICSE board exams 2021 will be taken soon. NEET PG 2021 has been postponed. States like Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan have cancelled board exams 2021.
In the wake of the pandemic situation prevailing in the nation, many states have either cancelled or postponed Class 10 and 12 board examinations. Telangana SSC exams have been cancelled and Inter exams have been postponed. The UP Board exams 2021 for Class 10 and 12 have been postponed till May 20. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG) 2021 has also been postponed until further notice.
CBSE Class 10 board exams have been cancelled and Class 12 board exams have been postponed. Class 10 board results will be prepared on the basis of the objective criterion developed by the board. Class 12 students will be given a fresh date sheet before the beginning of the papers.
Gujarat GSEB Class 10 and Class 12 exams have been postponed. The examinations were set to be held from May 10 to 25. Gujarat government has also decided to promote students of Classes 1 to 9 and 11 without any examinations.
Haryana Board Class 10 board exams students will be promoted on the basis of internal assessment. The Class 10 board exams scheduled to begin on April 22 have been cancelled and Class 12 exams have been postponed.
Punjab board exams 2021 for Class 10, 12 have also been postponed.
The Odisha government too on Thursday decided to postpone Odisha Class 10, 12 board exams 2021.
The Telangana Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 exams have been cancelled and the Intermediate Class 12 exams have been deferred because of the surge in COVID cases.
The Chhattisgarh Board Of Secondary Education (CGBSE) on Friday 9 April postponed the Class 10 examination due to a spike in COVID-19 cases. The secondary exams were scheduled to be conducted from April 15 to May 1. "Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur has postponed the board exams starting from April 15, 2021, for class 10th, keeping in mind the growing transition of Corona in the state and lockdown in many districts," Chhattisgarh Chief Minister's Office tweeted.
The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to postpone the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. New dates will be decided in May after reviewing the coronavirus situation.
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the deferment of Classes 10 and 12 practical examinations in the wake of the rising COVID-19 cases in the state. The JAC had already begun the practical exams for Classes 10 and 12 on April 6. No announcement has been made so far on the conduct of theory examinations.
The Himachal Pradesh government on Wednesday postponed the ongoing state board exams for Classes 10 and 12 in view of the rising COVID-19 cases, state education secretary Rajeev Sharma said.
Rajasthan Class 10 and 12 final exams have been postponed in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said Wednesday. The decision came soon after CBSE’s decision to cancel Class 10 board exams and postpone Class 12 final exams.
Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has postponed the high school, higher secondary, higher secondary vocational, diploma in pre-school education, physical training correspondence examinations by one month. These examinations will now be started from the first week of June 2021 and will be conducted till the last week.
Maharashtra, the state government has decided to postpone SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) final exams. Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said the present situation is not conducive for holding exams and the government will write to other boards, including CBSE and ICSE, to reconsider their exams. Class 12 board exams in Maharashtra will be held in by the end of May and Class 10 exams will be held in June. Earlier these exams were scheduled for the last week of April.
