TS Inter 1st 2nd Year Result 2025 : Minimum Passing Marks Criteria
To pass the TS Inter examinations in 2025, students must secure a minimum of 35% in each subject and an overall total of 350 out of 1,000 marks. This applies to both 1st year and 2nd year candidates. However, students with certain disabilities—such as those who are blind, deaf, or mentally challenged—are given concessions and need only 25% marks to qualify.
Those who fail in one or two subjects will be given a chance to appear for supplementary exams, ensuring they don’t lose an academic year. These criteria have been established to maintain academic standards while also providing inclusive opportunities for all.
- Theory Subjects: Students must score at least 35 per cent marks in each subject.
- Practical Subjects: For subjects that include both theory and practicals (such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.), students must obtain a minimum of 35 per cent marks separately in both the theory and practical examinations.
- Aggregate Marks: There is no mandatory overall aggregate requirement; students need to ensure they clear each subject individually by securing the minimum passing marks.
This means that if a student performs exceptionally well in one subject but fails to secure a minimum of 35 per cent marks in another subject, he or she will be considered 'failed' in the final result.
The important point to note here is that the passing marks criteria for visually impaired students is 25 per cent.
TS Inter Results 2025 : Revaluation Process Explained
Students who are not satisfied with their TS Inter 2025 marks can apply for revaluation. This process allows a rechecking of the answer scripts to ensure no questions were left unchecked and the totals are accurate. Revaluation applications can be submitted online, accompanied by a processing fee per subject.
The Telangana Board will review the applications and release revised scores if any discrepancies are found. This opportunity can be crucial for students narrowly missing higher grades or specific entrance eligibility. It’s important to act quickly as the application window is usually brief after the declaration of results.
TS Inter Results 2025 : Supplementary/Compartmental Exam Provision
Students who fail in one or two subjects in the TS Inter 2025 exams will be eligible to appear for supplementary examinations. Download and verify marksheet: Once the TS Inter Results are available on the official website tgbie.cgg.gov.in, download your provisional marksheet and check each subject's score carefully.
Recounting/Re-evaluation (if required): If you think there's a mistake in your marks, you can apply for recounting or re-evaluation. The TSBIE will soon release the steps and dates for this process after result declaration.
