The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) clarified on Tuesday that they haven't confirmed the date and time for releasing Class 10 and 12 exam results. Disregard any fake notices online claiming the results will be out on May 1, 2024. According to a board spokesperson, there's no update on the results as of now.
When the results are out, you can find them on CBSE's official websites like cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbse.gov.in. You can also access your marks sheets through the DigiLocker app and website (digilocker.gov.in).
To check your CBSE Class 10 or 12 results online, you'll need your school number, admit card ID, and board exam roll number.
Before the results are declared, CBSE will issue a circular with details like websites, date, and time.
This year's CBSE board exams took place between February and April. Class 10 exams ran from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while Class 12 exams were held from February 15 to April 2, 2024.
The exams for both classes were held in a single shift, starting at 10:30 am and finishing either at 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm, depending on the paper length.
About 39 lakh students appeared for these exams and are now awaiting their results.
Historically, CBSE tends to release Class 10 and 12 results this month. Students are encouraged to keep an eye on the official CBSE website and its social media channels for reliable updates and not to trust any unofficial notices.
